Carol Miller, CAI, BAS
For Carol Miller, family has always been at the heart of everything she does. She began auctioneering as a way to stay present with her husband and two children while still making a difference in her community. Now, one of her greatest joys is spending time with her grandchildren, cheering them on at their activities, camping, and biking together. With a background as a recreation therapist supporting physical rehabilitation, Carol has always been passionate about helping people thrive. She also carries a deep appreciation for local nonprofits and is a fierce advocate for women, working to empower and elevate female leaders in every space she can.
That commitment to people and purpose is what shaped Carol’s professional journey. For more than 30 years, she has been an award-winning professional auctioneer specializing in benefit auctions and fundraising. Her customized, mission-driven approach and engaging, dynamic style have raised millions of dollars for nonprofits and charitable organizations. Carol holds a Benefit Auction Specialist certification from the National Auctioneers Association and has partnered with schools, animal rescues, therapeutic services, healthcare organizations, Habitat for Humanity, the American Heart Association, housing services, arts, and community groups.
Carol’s dedication to her craft and her community has earned her recognition as Wisconsin State Champion Auctioneer, IAC Finalist, Chuck Cumberland Award Winner, NAA Volunteer of the Year, and induction into the Wisconsin Auctioneers Hall of Fame. She has also served as President of the Wisconsin Auctioneers Association, on the NAA Educational Institute and Foundation boards, and as a national speaker at the Certified Auctioneer Institute and Women’s Summit.
For Carol, the true joy of auctioneering is being a conduit between nonprofits and their supporters. She loves extending an organization’s mission while creating an atmosphere where people feel inspired to give. Exhilarating, fun, and fulfilling, every auction is her chance to bring communities together, make an impact, and spark change.
